Overview
If you have always longed to experience the fecundity of a real equatorial rainforest, Borneo will fulfil your wildest dreams. The island’s jungles conjure up remoteness and adventure, bringing to mind impenetrable foliage and river trips into the heart of the densest wildlife habitat. Significant part of Bornean rainforest remains intact, protected by conservation projects whose viability depends a part on income from travellers like us. For most of our travellers in the last 12 years of touring Borneo, their most memorable moments have been: Glimpsing a Wild orangutang swinging through the jungle canopy, Proboscis Monkey protecting his harem, locking eyes with Saltwater crocodile, watching a heard of Pygmy elephants crossing a river, Red Giant Squirrels gliding through the forest canopy, the Bats making an exodus out of a cave and many such encounters.
